The Shea Earring
This listing is for extra long, resort inspired statement earrings featuring rattan beads, bone button beads and an 18k gold plated chain.
These earrings hang approximately 4.5" inches from the lobe and measure about 0.5" inches across their widest point. The fishhook earring closures are 18k gold plated and nickel-free.
This collection is inspired by light. I wanted to create a white, neutral based collection that mixed several textures and felt light and airy. The key components include white howlite spikes, hand carved Nepalese bone beads, rattan, raffia and metallic accents. Each piece is lovingly designed and crafted by hand.
Our bone beads are handcrafted by artisans in the Nepal countryside using only recycled bone. In Buddhism the use of bone in beads and jewelry is intended to remind us of our mortality, and to live our lives with compassion and happiness, and always in service to others.
